I have been playing with the idea of doing time lapse videos of my process for a while now. I follow a lot of artists on Instagram that share their process this way, and I've always thought that it was so cool to see the creation of a piece from start to finish in just a few minutes. Luckily, my husband is a video/editing/GoPro wiz, so I will be recruiting him to help me out.
For now, I decided to start small with IG's story feature and then put them together in iMovie. I've been working on these tiny 4"x4" pieces for the Monarch Festival coming up next month. I don't have a tripod or stand of any kind for my phone, and I haven't quite got the angle right, AND there's no sound, but I still wanted to share.
What do you think? I know it's super amateur, but hubby can help to make them look professional. My plan is to start the time lapse for my next large piece which will hopefully be soon. I've been sick for almost two weeks now, so as soon as I'm feeling better I'll get back in the studio AND I'll keep you in the loop! Thanks for watching!
